Practice of Incisions and Flap Elevation, Crown Lengthening procedures, Flap Closure/Advancement, Partial Thickness Flap, Management of Surgical Complications, Bone Grafting and Laser-Assisted Periodontal Applications Clinicians will learn when, why and how to proceed in surgical periodontology and oral surgery utilizing innovation in surgical dentistry.
This action-packed Soft-Tissue Management course, with multiple hands-on sessions and lectures, will provide a step-by-step blueprint for successful Soft-Tissue and Surgical techniques with hand instruments, piezoelectric devices and lasers.

Dr. Romanos will provide pre-op patient evaluation and safe patient selection and you will leave prepared to return to your practice and immediately provide these new techniques and procedures. Hard Tissue Management in Surgical Dentistry

Hard Tissue (Bone) Grafting At this intensive two-day hands-on workshop, attendees will learn the fundamental principles and specific protocols used to perform guided bone regeneration (GBR) and in general bone grafting techniques. This course will focus on the hard tissue management and will provide important information for the clinician who wants to improve his knowledge and wants to be trained comprehensively in all these surgical techniques from a world-class expert.

Each participant will learn numerous protocols for the management of simple socket defects, advanced socket defects, horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation (incl. sinus) using GBR and block techniques. This course will focus on proper planning and execution of predictable bone grafting techniques to restore a patient’s smile and function with dental implants. At the same time learning how to implement these techniques to achieve safe and predictable treatment outcomes. This 18-hour course is unlike most you will attend and offers follow up sessions to review cases post-course through the new Goldman Dental Study Club.
Participants will learn indications and contraindications of different hard tissue procedures and will perform frequently in an ex vivo model (under direct supervision) all the surgical procedures included in the program. Special focus on the hard tissue surgical techniques for Implant Dentistry!
