Clinicians will learn when, why and how to proceed in surgical periodontology and oral surgery utilizing innovation in surgical dentistry.
Course Summary:
Practice of Incisions and Flap Elevation, Crown Lengthening procedures, Flap Closure/ Advancement, Partial Thickness Flap, Management of Surgical Complications, Bone Grafting, and Laser Assisted Periodontal Applications. This action-packed extraction course, with multiple hands-on sessions and lectures, will provide a step-by-step blueprint for successful Soft-Tissue and Surgical techniques with hand instruments, piezoelectric devices, and lasers. Dr. Romanos will provide pre-op patient evaluation and safe patient selection, and you will leave prepared to return to your practice and immediately provide these new techniques and procedures. You will learn how to select and demonstrate proficient use of the appropriate armamentarium to determine and demonstrate case-appropriate basic and advanced suturing techniques. The course has been carefully designed to integrate didactic, visual aids, and extensive hands-on attendee participation with a wide range of different exodontia and grafting procedures for each individual patient.

Course Summary:
This comprehensive, hands-on training course equips medical and dental professionals with the clinical skills and confidence to treat both the functional and aesthetic concerns of patients using FDA-approved botulinum toxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Jeuveau®, Daxxify®). The course integrates the therapeutic treatment of TMD, orofacial pain, bruxism, headaches, and migraines with aesthetic procedures targeting the upper third of the face, including the glabella, forehead, and crow’s feet. While Botox is widely known for its cosmetic benefits, its application in facial regions is also a powerful medical treatment—blocking pain signals in the muscles and nerves responsible for chronic head and neck tension. Treating these areas simultaneously enhances facial esthetics and reduces the frequency and severity of migraines and muscle-based facial pain. Attendees will learn to properly assess, diagnose, plan, and execute botulinum toxin treatments for comprehensive patient outcomes. Biography:
Dr. Jarrod Cornehl, a 2002 honors graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, is an accomplished restorative and cosmetic dentist and leading aesthetic medicine expert. He is recognized for his successful combination treatments using dermal fillers, toxins, PDO threads, and the application of PRF with laser therapy, as well as his unique approach to TMD pain management. Dr. Cornehl specializes in non-surgical treatments for TMJ disorders and myofascial pain, utilizing PRF, photobiomodulation, trigger point injections, and neuromodulators.
