John B. Roberson

BSP, ACPR, PHARMD, PASHP, FACHE

Dr. Roberson is a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has Fellowships in the American College of Dentists, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, International College of Dentists, and Pierre Fauchard Academy. He writes and lectures extensively nationwide about Medical/Sedation Emergencies and Emergency Drugs in the Dental Office. He created the R.E.A.D.Y. Program (Readiness, Emergencies & Airway Development program for Your team). He co-authored a book on medical emergencies, has over fifty (50) online courses on medical emergencies, sedation emergencies, and pediatric emergencies, along with almost 100 articles on the subject. He is dedicated to Patient Safety in the dental office.

Dr. Jason H. Goodchild, DMD, earned his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and received his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. He has held faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania, Creighton University School of Dentistry, and Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He currently serves in clinical affairs at Premier Dental Products Company, where he is involved in developing innovative dental products and educating clinicians to improve clinical practice.

Dr. Goodchild has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and lectures nationally and internationally on treatment planning, restorative dentistry, pharmacology, medical emergencies in dentistry, oral/enteral sedation, local anesthesia, and dental photography. He has been an invited speaker for the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association of Dental Examiners and has served as a reviewer for publications including the Journal of the American Dental Association, General Dentistry, Compendium, and Quintessence International. He also maintains a private general dental practice in Pennsylvania.

Mark Donaldson

BSP, ACPR, PHARMD, PASHP, FACHE

Mark Donaldson received his baccalaureate degree from the University of British Columbia and his Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Washington. He has practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist, clinical coordinator and director of pharmacy services at many healthcare organizations in both Canada and the United States.  He is currently Associate Principal of Clinical Pharmacy for Vizient’s Advisory Solutions, and lives in Whitefish, Montana. Dr. Donaldson is a Clinical Professor at the University of Montana, Clinical Associate Professor at the Oregon Health & Sciences University, and affiliate faculty in Dentistry at UBC. He has lectured internationally to both dental and medical practitioners focusing on dental pharmacology and therapeutics and is a leader in the field.

Dr. Donaldson has published numerous peer-reviewed works and textbook chapters. He serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of the American Dental Association and is the 2016 recipient of the Academy of General Dentistry’s Dr. Thaddeus Weclew Award. In 2019 he was conferred by the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) with the “Special Friend of Canadian Dentistry Award.” This award is given to an individual outside of the dental profession in appreciation for exemplary support or service to the profession as a whole.
