Course Description:
After the Covid-19 pandemic you may have many patients returning to your practice in a stressed state. Understanding and communicating the impact stress can have on your oral health is essential. This presentation will review the complex biological response to stress related to your immune system and inflammation and how to simply communicate this with patients. Identifying oral symptoms possibly related to stress will help guide you in treatment protocol, constructing goals, and monitoring progress during your continuing care appointments. Lastly, we will discuss how to implement effective homecare instructions.
