The aim of the lecture is to present concepts in implant dentistry, which prevent the peri-implant inflammatory reactions and provide crestal bone stability in a long-term. In this presentation, the speaker will try to demonstrate characteristics of the modern implant designs to stabilize and control the peri-implant bone loss. He will also present prosthetic concepts in implant therapy, which optimize the plaque control.
In addition, various treatment protocols controlling the peri-implant crestal bone loss after grafting procedures, maintaining the peri-implant soft and hard tissue stability will be presented. And last but not least, the various treatment options of the peri-implant bone loss using regenerative procedures with long-term success will be illustrated using high number of clinical examples.
